Bed Bug Detection
The NightWatch Bed Bug Monitor Trap from BioSensory Inc. features new
technology that literally attracts and traps bed bugs in an infested
room. After a completed visual inspection, NightWatch is utilized to detect if a room
or unit has bed bugs, if a treated room is safe for occupancy, how bad
an infestation is, or even to control and eradicate an infestation. The
NightWatch™ Bed Bug Monitor Trap is scientifically designed to trap bed
bugs with a lure, which uses the pests' own natural, biological attractants against them.
By mimicking the CO2 (exhaled breath) and heat of a human body,
NightWatch combines with this powerful lure to make one of the most
effective bed bug traps available. This can also be used before purchasing a new home, along with your termite inspection.
Heat Treatment Bed Bug Control & Extermination
Most bed bug extermination treatments are extremely tedious, require
multiple visits, a significant amount of preparation, and use
insecticides to control the situation. Bed bugs are growing increasingly
resistant, and there are fewer treatment alternatives as regulator
restrictions have diminished many chemical options. However, with the
use of heat, a bed bug infestation can be eliminated in a short period
of time, without the use of chemicals, allowing businesses to resume
normal use of the room quickly.
- Bring Heat. Electric bed bug heaters are placed
within the space; introducing and recirculating heated air with a target
temperature not to exceed 135°F.
- Monitor. Temperatures are monitored in real time from a
remote location using wireless sensors to ensure lethal temperatures
are reached without damaging the space and its contents.
- Move Air. High temperature fans move heated air throughout the space to reach insects in cracks and crevices or high infestation zones.
